This choice is normally less expensive compared to alternatives like steel and prestressed concrete. PVC Pressure Pipes

PEX Pressure Pipe

Cross-linked polyethylene is a variant of polyethylene which is manufactured by cross-linking high density polyethylene. This material is more expensive than the basic PE, but its properties are exceptional for different applications. Unlike the above mentioned plastic pipes, PEX pressure piping can withstand relatively high temperatures. It does not develop scale or react with chlorine like metal materials when installed as part of a water conveyance system. Also, PEX is very flexible, which means that installation is easy and minimal connectors are required.

PB Pressure Pipes

Polybutylene has gained popularity in its heating and plumbing applications in commercial and industrial setup. This material is distinguishable because it can resist stress and damage for prolonged periods at high internal temperatures. As a result, this option is favourable for heat-related pressure applications. Like PE and PEX, PB pipes are flexible and easy to install.
